My ears hurt when I dive to the bottom of the pool. Can i still learn to Scuba dive?

Hi Stewart,

That depends.  This question can really only be answered by a Doctor.  However in individuals with healthy ears, minor pain at the bottom of the pool can be experienced by anyone that does not equalize their ears.  If you equalize your ears properly as you would learn to do in a scuba course, you would not normally feel pain when diving.
